Alex and his wife decided that life was too short to to be stuck in big city traffic. After visiting Belize for several years, they moved to Caye Caulker in 2005. Alex holds a BS in IT Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has several IT industry certifications. He is a veteran Internet and Telecommunications expert holding various executive positions in New York City’s “Silicon Alley”. In his 12 years in the Big Apple, he rode the dot-com wave to its fullest, orchestrating transactions worth over $70 million. While he has traded in his cubicle for a skiff, Alex keeps his customer’s budget in mind, maintains a keen eye on “customer delight”, and always strives to keep it simple.

Joe comes to the team with 5 years of experience at BTL (Belize Telecommunications Ltd.). In his capacity at BTL, he rose through the ranks in the outside plant organization and became the lead technician for Caye Caulker, the island on which he was raised. Joe became an invaluable member of the community - taking the reigns of responsibility for all telecommunications and internet in Caye Caulker - helping businesses and residents at all hours of the day - on the clock or off. Joe is a member of the Caye Caulker Village Council and leader to his family and friends. Joe was educated in Belize, has traveled extensively in the US, and is an amateur pilot.

Mike joined Caye Connect with 7 years experience supporting small businesses with Mac and Windows support, Windows server, PBX phone systems, POS (point of sale) systems, basic web design, MS Exchange server, various routers and firewalls, network and phone wiring. Mike is originally from the US and went to both Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and New Jersey Institute of Technology.
